My stats are low for the Business school. However, will I be able to get into the Business school because of my Entrepreneurial experience? I feel it is something that is very unique and obviously relevant to being accepted into a business school. My essay went into depth on my two biggest entrepreneurial successes and how those experiences will be the reason I succeed at Rutgers if accepted. My biggest concerns are my low GPA and no impressive course rigor throughout high school. I had a complex that I wasn't smart enough for Honors or AP classes and thus didn't apply myself into Junior year when it was too late.

What do you guys think? I have applied Early Action.

It’s a reach

Did you apply to the school, and with what stats?

No.
My good friend who is a junior there had the following stats, etc and he wasn’t sure he’d get in. His primary concern was his SAT score.

GPA U - 3.8
GPA W - 4.3
Rigorous course load
Class rank: top 10%
SAT - 1950
Lots of ECs and volunteering with leadership
No entrepreneurship though

Dude, I hope you make it but your asking for opinions here and I think its a reach

ArchLiving - please prove me wrong and post here if you get it, plus PM me in case I miss your post. Good luck.

Wow those are really good stats for the business school, he should have felt very comfortable. I’m in the bottom 25% of accepted applicants with my stats so I am aware it is a reach which hopefully my Business work can make up for.

Thanks for your input. I will PM you with the decision when I get it.

I got accepted with a 2010 SAT and a 3.7 weighted gpa. However, according to your stats, is say you’re a low reach or high match. Honestly, rutgers only
Looks at sat and gpa

@brian, this is something I hear people say all the time. Can you provide some sort of source of that?

Scroll down to page 7 (this is their common data set telling what they really consider; usually you’d see almost every category under Very Important or Important; when something is under Considered, it doesn’t play that big a role)

When did you apply to SAS, and when did you get your response

I applied to sas, engineering and business on 9/30 and got accepted 10/10

I got a 1930 on my sats and have a 3.7 cumulative GPA up to the end of my junior years. I have already gotten into SAS but Im waiting for the Business school

So I still haven’t received an answer. Is there no hope?
