So I am accepted to the College of Liberal Arts for Psychology.
I am an international student for India and wanted to know people’s reviews whether I could get the Maroon Global Excellence Scholarship or the Gold Global Excellence Scholarship
My stats are
SAT 2060 - Math(710) CR(660) CW(690)
TOEFL -112/120
CGPA grade 9 -9.8/10
CGPA grade 10-9.8/10
Percentage grade 11 - 94.45%
Predicted percentage grade 12- 95 above( predicted by my school)
Hi! I too am an int’l applicant from India.
I think your academics are definitely stellar but there’s a very bleak chance of getting the Global Excellence Scholarship unless your SAT score goes up by at least 100 points.
That said, I’d like to know whether you think I have a shot at it.
I’ve applied to CSE for Computer Science.
My stats are -
SAT - 2230(One Sitting - CR - 690, Math - 790, Writing - 750)
TOEFL - Didn’t take it
Acads:
Grade 9 - Horrendous scores. I don’t remember.
Grade 10 - 92% Aggregate(HUGE bump from the 9th grade for sure)
Grade 11 - 93% Aggregate(Highest Score in Math, English and Computer Science)
Grade 12 - Predicted scores in the highest bracket. My school predicts in percentiles. (Top 2% prediction)
Oh, and I’m ranked 5th out of 330.
Also to be noted: my school is highly competitive and the grading curve in the 11th and 12th grades is really screwed.
Very strong ECs - I run my own Non Profit Organisation, Head Boy(equivalent to President of Student Council), etc…
Do you guys think I have a shot at the Global Excellence Scholarship?
@ShridharSukhani Your 9th grade scores as you say are horrendous may affect the scholarship decision. Otherwise you have got a pretty good chance.
And yeah thank you for your review
Thanks for the review @pallavijaniani
Congrats on your acceptance!
