Chance at SLO?

<p>Hi, im a student a CAPO Valley High School and was wondering what my chances are at Cal Poly SLO. I want to major in Statistics or BME (Haven’t decided yet)
My stats are:</p>

<p>Male, Asian
UC GPA - 3.70
10-12WTD: 4.0
UW is pretty low, like 3.3 or 3.4 I think</p>

<p>SAT1-
Math - 700
Crit. Reading - 690
Writing - 570
Essay - 10</p>

<p>Total - 1960</p>

<p>I got the same exact writing score twice (but improved 100 points in math and crit reading) so I don’t think taking the SAT for a 3rd time will improve my writing score. (my spelling/grammar is bad…)</p>

<p>SAT II
MathIIC - 650
US History - 690</p>

<p>I’ll retake MathIIC</p>

Academic Decathlon Competition Team 2 years
Member of Operation Smile
Volunteered at Doctor (Pediatrician) and Dental offices over the summer
USA Junior Field Hockey Team (U19 Goalie) edit: so I didn’t make the US team because they only take 18 yr old goalies, and I wont be 18 for another two years. But I’m on the OC/Phx regional team.
JV Tennis Team
2 Years Escape Magazine Secretary/Treasurer
3 years Key Club
Dental Assistant
Internal Medicine Doctor Assistant
Played the Violin for 5 years</p>

<p>you have a pretty good shot. i had the same gpa and lower sats and got in under math major.</p>

<p>it might be harder to get in if you apply as engineering, so try science.</p>
