<p>maybe NYU... your GPA is low for all of these schools, and your SAT is at the lower end. in spite of this, your fencing may help. just hope you get recruited. also, are you an urm?</p>
<p>I'd definitely apply to more match/safety schools - you can say that you'll have a "solid essay" and "solid teacher recs" all you want, but that doesn't really mean anything to us, and I think those are what will determine your status at all four of those schools. I don't think you're particularly special in any other field, however - you have a good GPA and decent SATs (albeit a nasty Verbal score), but they're not up to par for those 4 schools.</p>
<p>Focus very heavily on your essay, and don't claim it's solid until you put a ton of effort into it.</p>
<p>yes i agree with jason once again, i think you need more match and safety schools, and the same bit with the essay =) (out of the schools you listed i'd give ur best chance at nyu early decision)</p>
