Chance at Stanford

Hi, so it's been my dream for a few years (since middle school) to go to Stanford. The only thing is, I'm not confident in having a chance of getting in. So here are my stats:
2160 SAT,
Close to a 4.0 unweighted GPA (all classes above 95 sophomore and junior year, not as good freshman year but not terrible. Also, stanford "primarily looks at 10th 11th and 12th grade),
Should be above 4.0 weighted (had about a 93 freshman year, but a 101+throughout sophomore and 102+
junior year)
I was 14th out of class of 320 as of last year, but I have climbed up a few spots do to being #1 throughout junior year, not sure how much though.
Aps: 4 APWH, 5 APUSH
Taking next year: Ap lit, AP cal AB, AP gov, AP bio, college-level economics, and electives (limited AP offered)
My school also ill-prepares us for SAT subject tests...I studied for chemistry year after the class and got a 690 :( so since they are optional at stanford, I plan on applying ED and not submitting any. I also have limited funds for a bunch of retakes, but will study for Math 2 and Physics if I need to...I'm a white male as well :/ and have an essay about how I had to live alone for a few months due to a health ailment of my mom.
ECs: (senior year is obviously looking forward, idk if you include this)
Varsity Track: sophomore, junior, senior year (captain junior year, scholar-athlete award)
Varsity indoor track: junior, senior year (captain junior year, scholar-athlete award)
Varsity Cross country: junior, senior year (will be captain senior year, scholar-athlete award)
Model UN: sophomore, junior, senior year (president junior-senior year, 2 best delegate awards)
National Honor society: junior-senior year
Y-Pals (mentor/tutor grade-school child): sophomore, junior, senior year
Youth Court: Junior, senior year
VP of French Club
President of Junior class (not senior year, should I still put this??)
Volunteer at local hospital last 2 years
Volunteering at many races, at running camp over this summer
Participated in Science fair with project on acid rain

I'd like to go to Stanford for engineering, but I think I'm a REAL stretch. If anyone could tell me what they think, or what schools I do have a chance at as that are good or great schools, I'd REALLY appreciate it!!

Stanford does not have ED, but SCEA.

Again, Stanford is a reach.

There is no point of this thread. Stanford is the most selective university in the country, if not the entire world. It’s a longshot for everyone applying-- especially someone who is unhooked.

Reach

reach
chance me- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1670747-improving-chances.html#latest

It’s probably a reach, just like Stanford is for anybody else. I think you have to submit all your SAT (including subject test scores) and ACT scores…optional just means you don’t have to take them, but once you do, you have to send them

Sorry but this is probably what you don’t want to hear, but you stand little chance of getting into Stanford ED. Your SATs are too low, and SAT subject tests are not good.

You have one glimmer of hope though. Seems like you run track a lot. Are you quick enough to get recruited by the coach? Goto the Stanford athletics website and see if your times are in the ballpark. If so then get on the ball and start reaching out to coaches.

That’s what Stanford told me when I applied, but somebody check me on this please so I’m misleading anybody

How about ny chances at Cornell for engineering?

sgopal2 is right. Try to get yourself recruited for track. If you study hard (hit the books!) you still have time to raise your SAT score to at least 22xx.
