Bumppppppppppp.

Bumppppppppppp!!!

EC’s are not too impressive, but I suppose anything’s possible. Mid to high reach for all except Florida and maybe Vanderbilt. Doesn’t Duke have early decision too, anyways?

and not early action

So are grades, volunteer, and honors/awards ok?

Your awards are kind of meh haha sorry, but nothing too unique. If you really kill the essay you probably have as good a shot as any

My recs are going to be awesome; my English teacher grades the AP Literature test every year, and she’s a killer writer. The other is my chemistry teacher who loves me, so I know its going to be a good rec. I already planned out my essay and asked my English teacher about it, and she approved. What do you think I should improve?

I wouldn’t try to fit in any last minute EC’s or anything; adcoms are usually wise to that kind of resume padding. Just make sure your essay is something that will stand out, but still speak honestly to you as a person.
