<p>I'm applying for Mechanical Engineering at UCLA and UCB for the Fall 2015 semester. However, I am scared that I may not have a strong chance at admittance. Below are my current academic credentials. If possible, I would like some insight on my chances of admittance for the Mechanical Engineering Program.</p>
<p>If possible, could I be chanced at these schools too(assuming that I apply to their Mechanical Engineering program)?

-Out-of-state, I go to a Career and Technical Academy, which is much more challenging than a public high school.</p>
<p>-I am a high school junior, going to be a senior after summer.</p>

<p>-3.7 unweighted GPA</p>
<p>-4.4 weighted GPA</p>
<p>-3.84 UC GPA</p>
<p>-Straight A's freshmen year, all year</p>
<p>-Total of 4 AP Classes, rest were honors. Going to take 4 AP classes in senior year</p>
<p>-SAT cumulative: 1840</p>
<p>-SAT Math: 600 -Writing: 680 -Reading: 560
-Will take ACT and SAT II(Math and Physics) later.</p>
<p>Extracurriculars/leadership:
-Vice president of school DECA Chapter 2013-2014, also a member for 3 years
- Key Club member for 2 years, 120 hours of community service
- SkillsUSA member for 2 years
- Talent club, Judge, 2 years
- School SAT club Tutor (Ironic because of my current SAT score....)
- Volunteer at a hospital, 100 hours
- Played Junior Varsity Volleyball for one year, will do Varsity next year.
- Received President's Academic Award in 8th grade (I don't think this pertains, but it's worth a try)
- Study abroad program at UC Berkeley for Engineering during summer 2013</p>
