I will skip the freshman year by passing my AP tests,so i do not need financial aid.

So chance...?
Thanks

That GPA is unweighted, and I am a junior,so I have time to raise my GPA.

thanks,anyone else?

GPA is low for sure.

I think you have a good chance… I think any colleges will understand your situation… and hook is that you got 2300 on SAT I… But I’m not sure about skipping freshmen year…

yeah idk if you’ll even get in b/c of your gpa. Let alone skipping frosh year. I would lose that mentality asap

Although changing 5 high schools is quite a hurdle, I don’t know that it in itself justifies a sub 3.0 GPA. However, that doesn’t sync with a 2300 SAT either, so, here’s the bottom line; your situation is unusual enough so that no one on this forum can tell you anything meaningful save MAYBE Drusba. Since they consider GPA even more than standardized tests, however, I’d say it’s a definite reach for you, but honestly, that’s just a hunch on my part. Wait for the decision, and you’ll know for sure. I have no idea what you’re talking about regarding bypassing your freshman year. That won’t happen, and you don’t “pass” your AP exams, and only 4s and 5s are considered. And what is considered varies on an institution-by-institution basis.

how much weight does uiuc put on GPA [and ACT]? Let’s consider two colleges for this question.

LAS and ENG
