I know my SAT's are low compared to uPenn's average, but I am planning to take them one more time and hopefully they will improve a little bit.

I have also taken 3 marketing classes and one accounting class in high school because it shows that I am interested in business (which is why I want to go to Wharton in the first place).

I also have a part-time job with 20+ hours a week.

I am Indian (east indian), so I don't think minority status will help me...but maybe.

I went to Penn's recent "college options" seminar and hopefully that will show interest.

I can get good rec's and write good essay

I plan to apply ED, and I still have a couple of weeks before I apply. Any suggestions to help me get in or improve my chances?

Way too big of a reach.

I'm not too qualiifed for advice, but I'll throw some at ya anyway.
Don't ED, your chances of retaking SATI and SATII will bring your SAT scores up hopeuflly, and inturn strengthen your standardized scores. I wouldn't ED there and waste my chance at getting into my school of choice until I was positive I could send in the BEST possible app. Study for the SATs and RD it.

Sorry, but no chance. Wharton's average SATs are much higher then Penn SATs in general, and yours aren't close to what it takes, especially math. Virtually no Wharton admit submits Math1 for an SATII. Math skills are very important in that program.

Second, high school marketing classes are not the level of business interest that stands out at Wharton. Third, being Asian makes you an ORM.

Try UMich for undergrad business.

Honestly I would shoot for a place like Wisconsin or as a reach Michigan. 1250, no hook, avg GPA (not top 3%) means no chance. Also, look to the top LACS that don't require the SAT like Bowdoin, Middlebury, and Bates. You don't need to major in business to get into business, in fact in many cases the econ majors do better at job placement.

Well will the DECA thing help and good EC's and essays? I am sure SATs matter a lot, but I have a high GPA with lots of APs. And I thought that having a lot of interest in Penn helps u get in? Well I took a lot of business courses, and Wharton can offer one of the best business education.

Well this sucks....I feel as if I have a small chance of getting in but don't know what to do about my SAT scores...they don't really improve after studying anyway. Either you do good your first time, or u improve a little after studying.

bumpity bump bump

There are lots of good business schools where you have a shot. Wharton wants stellar everything and they get it. Second Slipper's suggestions and will add Indiana, and CMU if the SATs can come up 100 points cr plus math.
