Chance at upper tier schools?

<p>Hey, I'm a rising junior, so this is more of an "am I on track" kind of thread. I plan on applying to Brown, Williams (legacy there if that helps), Amherst, Wesleyan, and Trinity based on my college search so far.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.5 UW, 4.0 W. This is really low, which worries me, but i plan to work my ass off this year.
Class Rank: School does not rank
SAT: The last practice test I took I got a 2230 (760 CR, 720 M, 750 W).
EC's: (I plan on continuing all of these but starting no new ones)
- Drama (2 years)
- Founded the Improv Club this year
- Private trumpet lessons (8 years)
- private voice lessons (2 years)
- Jazz Band (2 years)
- Youth Court, which is a restorative justice system for kids and teens. I'm a lawyer. (1 year)
- The Theater Project Young Company, an improv theater group (2 years)
- The Theater Project Classes, in which i teach theater/improv skills to young kids (2 years)</p>

<p>Course Load:
- Freshman Year: Hardest possible
- Sophomore Year: Hardest possible with the exception of one AP course
- Junior Year: Signed up for hardest possible classes</p>

<p>Awards:
- Berklee Jazz Festival Judge's Choice Award
- Maine Eco-Excellence Award</p>

<p>Race: Caucasian
Gender: M
Income Bracket: $150,000<</p>

<p>You’re doing good, just try and raise your GPA to atleast a 3.6-3.75 if you can, (higher if possible). Keep up the extracurriculars and get SAT scores of at least about 2000 - (higher if possible).</p>

<p>Okay, great. Thanks! I’m still a little worried about GPA - do they look at individual years or your average GPA for all of high school?</p>

Amherst: High Match/Low Reach
Trinity: Match
Wesleyan: Match</p>

<p>Your GPA would be the biggest thing against your profile, but I still think you have a good shot at the five schools listed. Work on your senior year GPA, and you have a better shot.</p>
