<p>Came to US 2 yrs ago didnt know how important ap was i wasnt even clear wht it was. Taking 3 ap in senior yr. Stat, psychology, bio.</p>

<p>Sat- 1930 superscored v 560 m 710 w 660 retakin 3rd time in oct will have at least 2000.</p>

<p>Ec: international club sang on int'l night
National beta club
Men of dustinction club president
Uga merit scholar certified
Honesty award frm school.
Questbridge scholar(junior yr)
Work at kroger</p>

<p>Very competetive high school in GA. Sent 3 ppl in harvard last year.</p>

<p>Essay and rec will b good.</p>

<p>Do i stand a chance? Although i didnt take ap, i had about 8 advanced classes in 2 yr, which were a step ahead of general. Had to deal with financial and language problems.</p>

<p>Good awards. “Honesty Award” sounds kind of lame though and not worth mentioning.</p>

<p>SAT is possibly a little low, but not low enough to keep you out.</p>

<p>Being Asian doesn’t help too much.</p>

<p>Competetiveness of your school helps.</p>

<p>I think you stand a small chance. If you took advanced classes, then shouldn’t it weigh towards your gpa +.5?</p>

<p>Btw, I am not so sure that asians still stand as a “minority” pertaining to college admissions.</p>

<p>Also, what is your rank in your competitive school?</p>
