I'm applying to Annenberg; I realize my ECs and GPA are very weak... I'm sure it's heard a lot, but being 1-2 years younger than all my peers, I didn't mature and pay attention to school until Junior year... do I have any shot at SC? I've gotten into UCR, UCI, UCSB and denied from UCSD.

Thanks.

hmmm I'm not too sure about your SAT scores.. your AP scores aren't high either and e/c's are very few..
if you got denied from UCSD, you're likely to be rejected from USC also..
I was admitted as a full-ride candidate and had to visit the school with a whole bunch of people.. and they all seemed to have extremely high stats.. but of course everyone there was a full-ride candidate, so they don't represent all of USC's applicants.. Still, I would have to say that your low scores make it very hard to be sure about acceptance..

UC admissions are sometimes random... so don't count out USC.

Yea my friend got denied at UCI, but accepted at UCLA. UC admissions can be really random.

"Yea my friend got denied at UCI, but accepted at UCLA"

Wow. Weirdest thing I've ever heard. Sounds scary..?

I got in annenberg on Tuesday with relatively low stats but extra currics helped my case

At SC, your scores will be superscored, so your 2030 puts you at probably the 45th percentile... which doesn't put you at a disadvantage. I'd say your acceptance will probably come down to your essays and how you presented yourself. Hold out just a few more days for your decision... good luck!

J0ey0ey, how low is 'low'?
I really want to make annenberg

(that is, if you dont mind putting your stats up)
