Hi, I just wanted some opinions on what my chances at getting into Villanova would be based on the information I have right now.
SAT: 620 math, 690 CR, 670 writing (1310/1600; 1980/2400) I’m going to be taking it again so it will probably go up
GPA: Not finished with junior year yet so not 100% sure, but I’d say 3.8-3.9
EC: Key Club (committee founder and chair, applied for vp so hoping I get it), Girls Learn International, Save the Children, I’ve been a Girl Scout since kindergarten and I’ve earned my Silver award and Gold Award (The highest award you can achieve in Girl Scouts, it took a ton of work, planning, community service, and leadership skills), I run a camp for kids in my neighborhood over the summer, and I have a part-time job. Currently applying for NHS, I think I can get in given my service and GPA.
while Nova over the past few years has increasingly become hard to get into, I think you have a good chance. Your SAT is around the 50th percentile for them and your GPA and ecs are above average. My friend who applied ED this year (similar test scores but worse ecs and gpa) got deffered this fall, but went to the school and interviewed. They seemed impressed and he’ll be going there next year. I hope that gives you confidence that you can get in.
Depending on whether or not you apply to the business school, I think you will be admitted. Business school could be a reach. Your CR and M could be higher but you still are about average across the board with GPA and SAT. You have a good shot.
