VT - match, you should get in
GT - reach, if you had a 3.5 you would be in but your gpa will hurt

you chance me i chance you.

thanks…

anyone else…?

bump…bump…

define “3ish”

oh,it means 2.95:)

bump…bumppppppp…

2.95gpa

I can tell you that Tech didn’t accept a single student below 3.0 all last year. But your SAT score is excellent, so you never know. I would still apply, but not get my hopes up.

I’m applying to VA Tech also, but it might be a reach for you with a 2.95
Normally they don’t accept students with a GPA below a 3.0

I’d still apply if I were you, so good luck !

It’s hard to tell with VPI. They only report the weighted GPAs.

gotcha,thanks.

GREAT SAT.
but the 2.95 is a little low for VA tech!
hope you get in!

I think you’ll be fine at both!
Your GPA isn’t bad and your SAT score is incredible!
Stay optimistic!

I think with that SAT you have a great shot at both. Your GPA is the only thing holding you back, but might be able to explain that away.

Good luck!

VA Tech- Being from VA, Tech is very lenient on instate apps. If you’re from VA then you’re set. If not, it’s a match-low reach because of the GPA.

GT- A hard call, but I would have to say a low-mid reach because of the GPA.

Good luck

because i am international,so i am not from VA :]

anyone else?
