I play soccer and run track for my high school and I am involved in numerous ECs in and out of school.

So what do you all think my chances are at being accepted into VT, primarily the engineering school? I've only taken the SATs once and my math potential is probably in the high 700s (i aced the first 2 sections, but did not manage my time well enough on the third section). Also, I'm sure I can improve my verbal and writing section scores as well. I know I still have some time before applying to colleges but I just want to get a feel for where I'm at i guess.

Thanks

Virtually identical to me and I got in without sweating it too much. Getting your SAT up can do nothing but help though. Writing section doesn't matter for admissions, just CR and M. You're very probably in, especially if you get your SAT up a couple points.

Hey, thanks for the great info and post!
