Hey guys... I'm in a unique situation and I have no idea where I stand. Heres what I have...

GPA: 3.2 unweighted 3.9 weighted (my school is really tough)
SAT: 740 math 730 crit reading 780 grammar total 2250 no superscore
SAT II: 800 math II, 750 literature 800 Chinese
Extracurriculars: Varsity Volleyball since sophomore year, team won division and went on to state semifinals and earned multiple medals at tournaments+ did a bunch of club teams
unpaid internship at financial company in boston
volunteered for Beijing Olympics
T.A. at sunday school camp counselor at ASC (both regularly w/ a bunch of hours)
club basketball

So basically... I'm wondering how my low gpa will affect my chances. Freshman and sophomore year I slacked really badly and junior + senior year I picked it up with 8 combined honors/ APs in a really tough, competitive school.

What are my chances?

Thanks

your gpa is under the average of all of these schools, but your obviously smart based on your test scores. if your class rank is high then that should compensate for the low gpa. please chance back!

Your gpa does put a damper on things, Wake Forest is big on GPA, so that might be the biggest reach for you on this list, since they are score optional. However, you can easily make this up in the ten essays they require. With solid recommendations as well this could easily become a match

I am guessing you are out of state for University of Michigan, and if you applied recently for this college, you probably applied too late, although your test scores are great, I heard of people with 2200+ getting rejected by Michigan because they applied too late with their rolling admission, nonetheless I still think your chances are good

Boston College is probably your best bet to get in, GPA is the only factor but with a rigorous schedule I think this will outweigh the low end

Wake Forest-Low reach/High match
University of Michigan-match
Boston College-low match
