Hello. I’m a parent of a WashU 2021 ED admit. You should take my advice with a pinch of salt. Being nominated for a Danforth Scholarship is a start because it’s your school that does the nomination.

Unfortunately I have a feeling that WashU is a high reach. The SAT scores don’t really stand out and I don’t see anything special about your extracurriculars. The subject scores are not that good. Did you take the most rigorous possible classes available to you? ACT score is better than SAT. Potential major?

Go to the WashU ED thread to see how you stack up compared to the accepted students. Good luck!

@Hamurtle I got in, thanks!

@2021kid Congrats! Will you be attending?

@RyanG1207 I will!

Nice job man. This is my dream school. Can you chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/washington-university-st-louis/1999608-ed1-to-washu.html#latest
