Chance at WFU

<p>My #1 school is Wake Forest and I plan on applying there ED this summer.
What are my chances?
I am at a respected & challenging small private school in the south
HS GPA- 3.5 UW
Taken highest courses available to me (honors/AP)
Only taken SAT once @ beginning of this year (I'm a Junior)
CW- 730
M-610
W- 640
Rank- HS does not rank but I am definitely in the top quarter.</p>

<p>EC's-
over 1200 hrs of community service grades 6-11, approx 650 hrs in HS so far
Held a summer job at a vet's office last summer, approx. 5 hrs/ week, and 15 hrs/ week of paid work at a local farm for the past 2 summers
1 yr of JV lacrosse, 3 yrs Varsity lacrosse
2 yrs- Young Republican's club
2 yrs of Riding club
Graduated Level 2 of a Natural horsemanship program- over 600 official hours clocked in program</p>

<p>Misc-
Won 2 book awards freshman/soph. yr(awarded to student with highest grade in a certain class)
Qualify for National Honor Society (still waiting to hear back)
Qualify for National Merit Scholarship (still waiting)
I skipped a grade, if that matters for anything. </p>

<p>So, do you think I have any chance of getting into WFU early decision, given my relatively low GPA?

<p>It looks like you will take SAT again so i assume it would be higher,but your GPA hurts a lot,overall WFU is a Low Reach/Match for you.</p>

<p>Same boat as me dude. My SAT is 1400/2060 but otherwise, same GPA problem.</p>

<p>I’d say WE have a good shot…haha.</p>
