High School rarely sends people to Ivies or other elite schools, but we did win the goldman sachs award this year, so it is still a competitive school.
I wouldn't need financial aid, i don't know if that affects decision..

Any questions or anything that i could do to make my app better? let me know! any comments are gladly welcomed!

ur ec's seem really strong, so obviously emphasize those.

gosh, i wish my stuff was this good =O

The only issue with your profile is that you do not have any business-related ECs. Otherwise, it's outstanding.

I'd say you have the highest possible chances at Wharton and other similarly selective schools. If you get in, come to Penn though. It's too awesome to pass up.

how important are business ECs :|?

Business EC's are irrelevant. Don't let anyone tell you that you need them. Very few of my classmates in Wharton had any interest in business before college.

Yep, mattwonder is right. Sorry to not list that in the first post. They are not needed, they just show an interest in the study of business. If you don't have them then all you have to do is display why Wharton is a fit in your essays. As was said, their are plenty of Wharton students with no former business ECs and there are many with extensive lists in the field that get rejected.

i was thinking about it, and i was going to originally going to apply to columbia ed, but now i think i might do u penn ed, would that help my chances? by how much?

i know we usually talk about how similar columbia and penn are, but Wharton and columbia (with its core) are very different academic environments. Pick the one that you want to attend, don't try to play a chances game.

im not, for some dumb reason i thought columbia had business, but they only have graduate school business. so what would happen to my chances?

ed can only improve your chances
considering you were pretty good to begin with, i'd say u move up from good chance to...

even better chance? XD

pretty much in

ugh...really?

anyone else?

URM. good stats. impressive everything. i can't guarantee anything, but you're pretty much in. just write a good essay. don't worry about the business EC's. not many students even get the opportunity to join FBLA or whatever other business ECs exist.

good luck!

and maybe (hopefully) i'll see you at penn! i'm applying ED to CAS/vagelos
