Chance at yale?

<p>I am a rising senior at a competitive public school in Texas that sends many grads to top schools. I am Asian and Male.</p>

<p>what are my chances at yale?</p>

<p>SATs are VERY average...perhaps even below average. your ACT, however, should more than make up for that. SAT2s are a bit week, especially considering most high-level students score 800s on those three subjects. your GPA is good enough. your ECs though...i see nothing unique or that would at least make you stand out amongst asian males. table tennis isn't worth much at all, though it's fun to do =P. founding the red cross club is pretty good, but that's it. there are hundreds of asian males just like you who have comparable ECs. what's gonna put you ahead of them? if you have an excellent essay and recommendations, i'd say you move up to a reach. your whole application is riding on those two parts =P. overall though, your chance at this point is very middle. which isn't necessarily a bad thing.</p>
