As a Korean American, colleges won’t accept your SAT II Korean score.

If you raise your SAT score by around 100 points, you’ll have a strong chance at all of the schools except Princeton, Stanford, and MIT. No matter how brilliant of a student you are, there are too many just like you applying to those three schools, and it’s all up to fate. But like I said, just get your SAT up and you’ll have a good shot at all of them. You might also want to take another SAT II so you have at least two usable scores above a 750.

Well, It’s too late now…
I already submitted all the application, of course.
Now I’m just waiting on the response.
I would be happy to go to CMU and veryvery happy to go to Northwestern!!

Yeah I would say that you have the best chances at Vanderbilt, Rice, Norhtwestern and Carnegie Mellon. You have a good chance for the others.
Great ECs and GPA, SAT is solid.
Best of Luck to you!!

Cooper Union - in? i think
Princeton - obviously reach… but good chance! get sat up
UC Berkeley - high math/slight slight reach… really expensive though
MIT - mid reach
Carnegie Mellon - high match
Cornell - low reach
Northwestern - high match
Stanford - reach
Rice - in
Vanderbilt - in

Before I give you my thoughts on your chances, I feel obligated to note that your ECs come off as quite the laundry list. That being said:
Cooper Union - High Reach
Princeton - High Reach
UC Berkeley - High match
MIT - High Reach
Carnegie Mellon - High Match
Cornell - Reach
Northwestern - Low reach
Stanford - High Reach
Rice - high match
Vanderbilt - high match
It’s always worth a shot, which is why I designated it as high reach and not impossible :). Also the people that said you should get into Cooper Union are most likely just judging from the fact that they haven’t heard the name. If you feel like it I’m sure you can find my old chances thread in my posts. Good luck with your applications!

wow, i’m impressed by how much you raised your SAT score in just a year…

anyways, you have overall good stats and good ECs/essays/recs, so you have a shot anywhere. (although you are applying to some of the most selective schools in the world.)

Cooper Union-reach
Princeton-reach
UC Berkeley-high match
MIT-reach
Carnegie Mellon-match
Cornell-high match/low reach
Northwestern-high match
Stanford-reach
Rice-high match
Vanderbilt-high match

Stanford, Cooper Union, and MIT are extremely competitive especially if you dont have any hooks. you never know though, so good luck!

Cooper Union - IN
Princeton - High Reach
UC Berkeley - IN
MIT - Reach
Carnegie Mellon -Match
Cornell - IN ?
Northwestern - Reach
Stanford - Reach
Rice - IN
Vanderbilt - Match

I think you have a chance at all those schools minus Princeton, Stanford, and UC Berkeley b/c I heard they’re raising the standards and cutting down on Asian admissions.

Cooper Union: Reach
Princeton: Reach
UCB: Reach
MIT: Reach
CMU: Low match
Cornell: Mid Reach
Northwestern: High match
Stanford: Reach
Rice: High match
Vanderbilt: High match
