Bump.

D:

This sucks.

Anyone? T_T

My daughter had similar stats 2 years ago, slightly higher on the SAT CR and a few more AP courses but in the same range. She was accepted RD at BU, UW (OOS) and GWU. She didn’t apply to UR. Good luck!

Thank you very, very much! I appreciate it! (:

I would say you should get into atleast three of the four, with a potential for all four. Best of luck!

BU - High Match
GWU - Match
UW - Match
U of R - Reach

The SAT score is a bit low, but I think with the challenging curriculum, Admissions will overlook it.

In at all. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html</a> <–Also include Yale in the chancing…

except UW which i have no clue about they’re all similar in terms of selectivity
Match for BU - i think you will most likely get in.
UR/GWU might be a little tougher but very reasonable. i say low reach. you might get into 1 of them.

Thanks guys!

Chancing you back right now!

GW-in
BU-in
UW-Match
UR-Match

Thank you!

Your GPA is very good, transcript is excellent, orchestra is a huge plus, work experience also helps, but the SAT’s are pretty weak. Here are my chances:

BU: Match-Reach

GW: Reasonable Reach

UW: Reasonable-BIG Reach (one of the best OOS schools in the country… I’d consider switching to perhaps American, UVermont, or Union?)

UR: Reasonable Reach

Your SAT really kills you at these schools… for each, I’d say ur at the 25th if not lower; any way you can bring those up? Anyway, hope this helps!! Plz Chance Me on the 2.0 thread!

Thanks!

Would it make a difference that I live in Washington? Would UW still be a reach, then?

I would say that while your SAT is low, with good essays these are all matches/high matches. I think you have a great shot of at least getting into two of these schools. Just write the essays and show that you really wanna be there.

Chance me back?

What are my chances of admission at Cornell, BU, GWU, Johns Hopkins?
Any opinions/advice/suggestions would be highly beneficial!!
Want to follow Pre-Med Track

Also i really want to get into Cornell, i know my GPA/SAT are low. What do i need to do in college to transfer into Cornell if i dont get in out of high school?

You’re sats are low but you have orchestra and your volunteer work working for you.

They are all matches
