My daughter had similar stats 2 years ago, slightly higher on the SAT CR and a few more AP courses but in the same range. She was accepted RD at BU, UW (OOS) and GWU. She didn’t apply to UR. Good luck!

except UW which i have no clue about they’re all similar in terms of selectivity
Match for BU - i think you will most likely get in.
UR/GWU might be a little tougher but very reasonable. i say low reach. you might get into 1 of them.

Your GPA is very good, transcript is excellent, orchestra is a huge plus, work experience also helps, but the SAT’s are pretty weak. Here are my chances:

BU: Match-Reach

GW: Reasonable Reach

UW: Reasonable-BIG Reach (one of the best OOS schools in the country… I’d consider switching to perhaps American, UVermont, or Union?)

UR: Reasonable Reach

Your SAT really kills you at these schools… for each, I’d say ur at the 25th if not lower; any way you can bring those up? Anyway, hope this helps!! Plz Chance Me on the 2.0 thread!

I would say that while your SAT is low, with good essays these are all matches/high matches. I think you have a great shot of at least getting into two of these schools. Just write the essays and show that you really wanna be there.

I have a 3.55 gpa

Great Recommendations
