Reflection

Thanks so much!

Is there any chance that you could be recruited for football?

Well even if you aren’t recruited, I’d still say you’re almost a shoo-in.

Hahaha nope I’m not nearly good enough to play DI Big Ten football.

Thanks for the chance!

Btw, I got rejected from Stanford EA.

I think you have a great shot. Your ACT and GPA are really good. Good luck!

Oh my! You’re already IN! Northwestern should be a safety school for you. If I add your stats, I would be applying to HYPSM or other Ivies! Well done!

Haha thanks for being so generous but I dont think Northwestern could be anyone’s safety school. I already got rejected from Stanford early so my chances at other HYPSM’s wouldn’t be too good and most of them aren’t really what I’m looking for either.

You’d be an idiot not to put NHS and Science Olympiad on your app, put them in!

What are my chances now that the numbers show that this will be the toughest admit year on record?

Thanks in advance y’all

Your chances are still near 100%…
Don’t worry about it.

I don’t want to guarantee your acceptance, but I see absolutely no reason as to why Northwestern wouldn’t accept you. Their admit rate’s pretty high for a Rank 12 school too. Good luck! Northwestern’s a great school. :]

99.99% sure you’ll get in.

Hey just to update everyone, I got my decision today. Straight rejected.

Wow… what an irony… the last two posts…

Just reminds you of the arbitrary-ness of this whole process. It’s a crapshoot. I was rejected too, but you can’t get hung up about it.

Haha thanks everyone, it all worked out in the end and I’ll be attending my top choice school from RD. Good luck to future applicants!

There go my chances… lol

How in gods name did you not get in? That just seems ridiculous to me…

NU is my top school, and I’m not anywhere close to your stats. I’d also be an athletic recruit (hopefully) but still… Can’t believe you got rejected. That’s crazy, congrats on getting into your #1 school! And best of luck.

Things just happen that way. Lots of people with the same stats were rejected. I have a significantly lower GPA. Good that you got everything worked out… Congratulations!

Don’t worry, I’m sure all of you applying next year will be perfectly fine whether it be at NU or somewhere else. I was a little surprised at getting straight rejected from Northwestern though. In the end I got into and enrolled at Duke and was waitlisted at Yale, so NU was my only RD rejection haha.
