<p>Hey there! </p>

<p>I am a senior and I just wanted to know if I have any chance at USC, U of Washington, Seattle University and Gonzaga University!! </p>

<p>Here are my Stats....</p>

<p>Rigorus School Type: Competitive public
Location: Washington State
Race/Gender: African American/Female
Prospective Major: Political Science/Public Policy (tentative)
Unweighted GPA: 3.6 (school doesn't w gpas)
Class rank: top 19%
Also took spanish for 4 years</p>

<p>SAT I Scores 1630 </p>

<p>By the time I graduate I will have taken 7 AP classes and basically rest are Pre-AP.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Key Club President (actually in the club for all of HS)
(I have had to run blood drives and many other charity events and just run the 70 member club in general)
National Honor Society
Varsity Tennis (all of HS)
Peer Mentor ( help insure a smooth transition for freshmen into high school)
Amharic Class (can read and write and speak this language fluently now.. Official Lang of Ethiopia)
Dance Lessons
Clark County Youth Commission! (internship...represent the youth in city council.. help come up with laws to benifit the youth)
A TON OF COMMUNITY SERVICE!!
and for what its worth...I babysit my bro and sister.=)</p>

<p>Essay: AMAZING!! almost done editing it and it turned out really great!
I have had many people read it and they were impressed.</p>

<p>I have some excellent recs. </p>

<p>I am passionate about everything that I do and I truly work hard... but are these stats enough to get me into my top choice USC????? How much does being a URM help?</p>

<p>University of Washington, Seattle University , or Gonzaga????.</p>

<p>to be honest ur sat i score is way too low. ur probably not goign to get into usc.</p>

I think gonzaga and SU are definite. And my sat score was worse but i boosted it!
I still think you have a chance at USC if you raise it. Keep you hopes up! Good Luck!</p>

<p>There’s a fair chance you could get in to UW even with that SAT score being instate but I wouldn’t feel safe about it. It looks like the rest of your resume is good so I would lean towards in at UW but only barely and definitely not safe. </p>

<p>USC is a reach to be honest and I’m unsure about Seattle U/Gonzaga.</p>

<p>I’m really not sure about USC, because of the test scores, but the fact that you are a URM puts you in a good position for the rest of your schools. Good luck!</p>
