my high school has a very competitive grading system, so my gpa, etc. is lower than it would be otherwise. my high school alerts colleges of this fact when seniors apply.</p>

<p>you are definitely on track for top tier schools, but it is still to early to tell. Your junior year is the key year that determines your future. You have yet to take the sat, and you can project scores all you want, but you still have to achieve these scores, which can be a lot more difficult than it sounds. My advice to you: take a rigorous courseload, excel at the sat, stay involved, and then come back to these boards in one year. Best of luck.</p>
