<p>College Board lost my AP environmental science score, so I have to retake the test December 5th, so they won't see this score for priority admissions.</p>

<p>I've done chemical engineering research via the Drexel Summer Mentorship Program.
I'm the founder and president of our school's science olympiad, and I am the captain of the chemistry lab and environmental chemistry teams.
I've been volunteering at the local animal shelter for all four years (ever since I got my dog).
I'm the vice president of our school's community service club, and I find volunteer opportunities that are animal-specific.
I'm one of the founders (my friend helped) of our school's computer/tech club.
I'm on NHS, and I am working on a way to start a massive drive for the local animal shelter.
I've just recently been named an Illinois State Scholar from ISAC.</p>
<p>So the question is... Will I get into the college of engineering at UIUC as a Materials Science/Engineering major!? I am so nervous bruv! I am so grateful to all who chance me!</p>
<p>Yeah I really liked my essays. My friends said they were some of the best they’ve read (even friends that go to some pretty darn prestigious universities). What would you say my chances are percent-wise? like 50%?</p>
<p>Oh man I completely forgot to post my rank - 44/450ish students. I calculated it, and I’m exactly at 11%, so I made top quarter for sure, just bordering that top 10%.</p>

<p>i could have sworn UIUC’s engineering program was fairly difficult to get into. wow i was so lost before you started chancing bruv. <em>tops off hat</em></p>
<p>All my friends who major in engi at UIUC got in with mediocre stats like sat 1900~2000+ etc. Not saying that UIUC’s engineering is not good, in fact, UIUC has one of the best engineering programs as far as I know but with your stats, getting in should be no problem.</p>

<p>Your ACT composite places you at the high end of the middle 50% of the CoE students admitted per the freshman profile. The middle 50% of engineering students, however, were in the top 2%-8% of their class. Your course rigor is good, which may help to mitigate what would otherwise be a GPA that’s a bit low. So, I’d say match, very slight reach.</p>
