<p>So I’ve looked over a lot of these chances and I tend to see that many kids have “robotic” stats. I’m banking on my work experience as being something that stands out greatly in my application but ill let you guys be the judge of that</p>

Engineering Intern with the 18th Largest firm in south florida.
Been working there over 2 years and named lead intern in charge of a major pavement and sidewalk conditioning project. (this is what I think will really make up for my low SAT scores and mediocre GPA)</p>

<p>I think your EC's are pretty good with your work experience. But while you still have time, I would still recommend you work on raising your SATs to 2100+ to get a good shot at Cornell.</p>

<p>I think the intership is a great EC. I also think that because you are an URM, this will help your chances of getting into top schools. Your schedule for next year is quite impressive also. I agree with the above poster, that it would be really helpful to improve those english sections on the SATs. Good luck.</p>
