I would say MIT is sorta out of your league, as is caltech… not sure about other schools though

Your likely to get into most of those except MIT and Caltech. still apply, but they are schools that randomness plays a big factor.

Chance me:

Caltech and MIT are big reaches. RPI, Berkley, CMU, Georgia Tech, Michigan and Cooper are high match/mid reaches if you do well on your standardized tests. Maryland, Purdue and WPI should be safeties.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1240598-ea-ed-apps-chance-me-nyu-northeastern-uconn-will-chance-back.html

I might change my schedule to AP BC calc, AP Physics C, Honors English, AP econ/comp programming I/last engineering course , AP CP/Philosophy: need 6 classes

What is a good combo?

bump 10char

more input please?

Those are all very high level schools. Don’t assume you’ll automatically get in and don’t relax your senior year. Looks like your SATs will be a huge determining factor.

quite the opposite, i continue to doubt myself and work my arse off

i’m just gonna say that without SAT scores, the chances here might be a little bit off, but based on what you’ve given, i’d say you have good chances at all the schools you listed except:

MIT (major reach for everyone)
Caltech (again, major reach for pretty much everyone)
UC Berkeley (low reach)

good luck!

best,
westfield

As long as your SAT/ACT scores are in the range you want (2200+, 33+)…
RPI, WPI, Purdue, Georgia tech, Maryland- likely

Cal tech, MIT (unlikely without perfect math scores + 2250+ SAT. Reaches for anyone)

UC berkley, UMichigan, CMU, Cooper Union- low reaches (you’ll be in a fairly competitive pool, but the likelihood is you get into some of these and not others because they’re just pretty competitive)

Sounds like you’re on the right track!

Would It be possible for me to take BC calc and Lin Algebra(if I can) in the same year, or should I just hold off until college. I would replace my Social Studies credit with LA
