2. Interned at a pediatrics center for low-income children (Head Registry Manager)
3. Founded my own charity/non-profit to help low-income African Americans in the LAUSD gain access to materials to better their opportunities in education. Other:
Race/Ethnicity: Black/African American
Income: Tough to explain but basically it was <40k for my family income up until roughly freshman year when my mom got a new job. Used to be pretty poor and that affected me a lot.

Also, my dad got really sick and I thought he was going to die. He was even hospitalized the week of finals and that took a toll on my entire family. This is why my grades aren't superb as I had to help take care of my younger brother and sister when this happened.

1st generation college? Kind of. My dad finally got his degree from online school less than a year ago.

Chance me for: All Ivies, Stanford, UChicago, Johns Hopkins, MIT, UCLA, UCSD, UC Berkeley.
