i doubt if universities will admit an english learner, even though my math and science are good...I heard Caltech wouldnt care about english so much as long as one's english is okay. Is this true? do i have any chance to get in Caltech, even though the chance is pretty small....? how about universities like NYU, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin–Madison, geogia tech..?

Thanks

You absolutely can get into very good schools. But first, you need to tell us about your financial needs: the public schools you mentioned are unlikely to give you financial aid if you’re an out of state student. Meaning you will have to pay $30-50K/year. NYU is also known for very poor financial aid, and it’s located in arguably the most expensive city in America. Will you require FA? What is your home state?

i am a california resident and going to apply the FAFSA. but I actually dont want to go to a college in california… so obviously money is a problem
