so 1570 total :C
GPA: 3.9
120 hrs of volunteer at a local vet
president of the volunteer club
and... that's about all
and i want to major in Biology, or Marine biology, or Zoology
do i have a chance at these schools at ALL??
* Albany SU
* Boston U
* Emory U
* Florida SU
* Georgia SU
* Miami U Oxford
* New York U
* SUNY Stony Brook
* U Hawaii Manoa
* Wake Forest U
and if non of these schools seem applicable for me, than what schools are??</p>

<p>thank you skas12 for your response! i do believe that retaking the SAT at dec.5 is a great advice since all the other CC members are advising me to achieve a higher grade… and i think that i will retake the SAT on dec5 and pray that my scores come out in the 1800s but study too of course! <:|</p>
<p>You should take the ACT. The SAT takes points off your wrong answers while the ACT does not - so take your full chances into guessing !
BTW, it is not the end. You still can go to a junior school and transfer in one or two years. Remember that Obama did the same thing. So don’t loose hope !</p>
<p>Take the ACT as well…in my opinion it is easier and actually measures what you have learned in high school and not your crictical thinking skills like the SAT.</p>
<p>ah great ideas! but the one problem im having is that im already a senior right now, and i dont believe that i have the time to “prep” for the ACT… :[
actually my parents and i was talking about “it’s not the end” and to have hope!
i think that the best thing that i can do is to have hope and belief that everything thing will work out, however far from my plan xD thank you for taking interest and concerns! :^)</p>
