Generic bump

You should be fine with all the UC’s up to SD, after taht UCB and UCLA are probably high matches since although your gpa is good, your “ECs are mediocre.” Still, I think you have a decent chance, especially if you boost up your SAT just a bit. Harvey Mudd is probably high match low reach, though you probably shouldn’t take my word for that since I’m not super familair with Harvey Mudd. Good luck! Wnna take some time and chance me now? :Dhttp://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1188763-chance-me-please-terribad-gpa-ok-ish-sat-ecs-will-chance-back.html

Done. Anyone else?

If you retake your SAT I you should be fine for all of the UCs. UCs are numbers-based. They don’t really take into account your ECs. Harvey Mudd is probably a reach, but definitely possible if you can bring up your SAT 100 pts or so (especially the math). I don’t know much about Cal Poly, but I think it would probably be a match for you… UCSB has an excellent Chem E program.

^ Thanks. So I take it UCs like to see both? Simply sending an ACT is iffy?

Oh sorry I didn’t see your ACT score… send that and you should be fine. 34 will give you a good chance at all of the UCs
