Chance for a scholarship?

<p>I got the email saying that they're considering me for a merit scholarship. I'm choosing between UDel and Tulane, and it will probably come down to money. Just wondering if anyone could estimate about how much they think I could get.</p>

<p>SAT: 1310, 2080
SAT2: US:710, Lit: somewhere in the high 600s
ACT: 29
ECs: 3 sport varsity athlete + captain, Marching Band, Color Guard Captain, Alto Saxophone section leader, National Honor Society, Service Honor Society
APs: US: 3, Lang: 4, taking AP Spanish, AP Lit, AP Comparative Politics, and AP Physics B this year
Course load: AP Spanish, Honors Band, AP Lit, AP Comparative Politics, Honors Calculus, AP Physics
Ranked 15th out of 450, GPA is a 96</p>

<p>I’m sorry I can’t answer your question (my DD is a soph at UD, but no merit $$). But I’m curious… did you get merit aid at Tulane? I know they are quite generous. I know Tulane starts out much higher than UD. Also, what state are you from?</p>

<p>The OP received $22,000/ year at Tulane which puts COA about 30,000/year…</p>

<p>My “guess” would be that UDel will offer $8,000/ yr…I don’t think that will beat the Tulane offer, but very close?</p>
