The only one I know about is American and you should get in there. My friend went there who had a much lower GPA! good luck

what was your friend’s GPA?

I KNOW PEPPERDINE and loyola would be kinda hard to get into. The rest are really good schools and you might stand a chance of getting into the rest.

I think the upward trend will help you out. 2.0 to a 3.6 is not an easy task, but I think you should explain why it’s so low. Good luck

I think it’s a reach for Pepperdine. But it depends on your displayed interest.

i don’t want to go to Pepperdine ^ lol
what about the other 5 schools?

I’m no expert, but I’d say you’re a good match for all of the schools you mentioned. Pepperdine and American are a reach, but nothing is impossible. Staying at Oregon would probably be a good option, too; US News has their political science program tied with American’s in the rankings. Good luck!

I know former acquaintances that attend those schools (except Redlands and American U.) and they’ve been doing exceptionally well. I say, you have good chances of getting into these schools well, as everybody said on this thread, except Pepperdine (tough one to get into). But, IMO, as long as you have a compelling essay, you have a a chance.

thank you guys soooo much

anyone else?

bump bumpp

Pepperdine and American are probably reaches. Others are matches.

Good luck!

Your freshman year grades may work against you but otherwise you seem alright

You might have a good shot at all the colleges except Pepperdine, I’m no expert in transfer chances and have little knowledge about these universities, so don’t completely take my word.

Unfortunately, I only know about LMU and Pepperdine. I think Pepperdine might be rather difficult, but LMU should be fine if you can spin your freshman year in your essay.

well I just received a letter from Chapman… I was denied.

I don’t know much about transfers or those colleges but, overall, your academic history has shown a ton of improvement and it looks pretty appealing (to me, at least). So yea, good luck with those colleges.

bump please

What motivates you to transfer from UO?

I don’t know too much about transferring. But I would say mostly matches accept for Pepperdine and American. Good luck!

AU-high match
CLU-match/high match
CU-match/high match
LMU-match/high match
PU-high match/low reach
UR-high safety/low match

Good luck :)
