do I have any chance?

Sure you have a chance, just boost SATs and take more APs (over the four, if you're not a senior). SAT IIs are very good.

Dont think I'll be able to boost my SAT's as I dont really want to take them again. I went up extensively from my first to second time(600 V, 630 M, 610 W first time). I am taking 5 AP classes this year though

I think you're picture-perfect, for all except the SAT. That's about what I had coming in to Wake two years ago, and as you're well aware, Wake has been trying to climb the rankings in terms of selectivity. Put another way, I don't think I would have been accepted to Wake, all things being equal, last year or this coming year.

Is wake forest looking at the writing SAT this year?

yeap. And like I said before, you stand a good shot at Wake.

Thanks, I guess I'll just take my chances. I know wake is reach so I won't be devasated if I dont get in but I'll be happy if I do.

I don't think Wake is a huge reach for you, its probably more of a match. Your SAT's are higher than their middle 50%, you have great SAT II's, 9 AP's, solid EC's. If your recs and essays are good, you shouldn't worry that much.

I agree, you're not a reach by any means. I just think that if your SAT were a bit higher, you'd be a locked in admit.
