Ok first of all YOUR TEST SCORES ARE GREAT! What did you write about in your personal statements? If you had a great topic, and something that sets you apart from other applicants i wouldnt rule out the top UC's. I mean just based on your stats...yes UCLA/UCB are reaches but if there is something that can push you over it would definitely be your personal statements. Hope they were great!

I would have to say you're a match for UCI/UCD, not a guarantee safety. Your UC GPA is below average for UCI and UCD. I am not sure about UCD, but the average UC GPA for UCI is around 3.9. However, your test scores are above average which balances you out.

You add up all your scores, and get a total composite score which includes your GPA, test scores, ECs, etc. I think they have a predetermined score: if you are higher than the number, you are in. If you are lower than the number, you are rejected.

The website doesn't really provide a 'cutoff' score....which seems kind of pointless unless you just wish to know how your chances are calculated instead of knowing if you got a good shot or not.

When u mean my test scores above average, do you mean my SATI or SATII scores? And what is the average SAT for UCI/UCD/UCSD/UCLA etc(if anyone knows).

How often to people get accepted into their match/slight reach/reach schools? Or should I say, how often does one get rejected from match schools?

By the way, the comprehensive review for Davis and UCSD, how many points is good? According to the davis site, I should have around 8000(aim for 8500?), give or take. What about UCSD?
