Planning to Apply: Vanderbilt, Emory, Wake Forest, WashU, Duke
Are these reasonable, too high, too low? Do I have a chance of getting any merit scholarship offers at any of the schools above? Please list other schools that I may fit into. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Suggestion: the best thing you can do for your application right now is to keep getting good grades in tough classes. If your rank could be improved to top 10% that would help. Other than that, just keep working hard and doing what you like to do. Don't worry too much about admissions. From your profile, it doesn't like you're going to be struggling to get into a good school. Sometimes concentrating too much on admissions when you're doing things in high school can have a negative impact on your application. Not that you're doing that, just saying.

Thanks for the encouragement. I completely understand what you are saying; I guess I'll try to keep that in mind, but its so hard not to worry about my future at college. :)

ur doing great. you would get in now..
check out the us senate youth program your senior year..
duke has great minority scholarships.. and you will be fine.. just keep it up..

i would really pump up your teens helping each other.. and dont forget community service scholarships like axa ( up to 25,000).. they dont consider financial need
