I have just been promoted to be senior this semester, but I'm gonna stay one more year in high school (Am I crazy?? Many people told me that...)

My case is kind of complicated because I'm an ESL student and I have been in the US for nearly 1 year and a half. I'm supposed to be graduated this year but after talking with my school counselor and my school principal, I was allowed to stay one more year though my high school credits now exceed normal quantities.

Race: Asian
My GPA: 3.45/3.45
Rank: 16
I've never taken any AP classes and SAT yet, probably take SAT in Oct and Nov.
I've never participated in any clubs, extracurricular activities and volunteer work because I'm really shy and taciturn and b/c of language barrier also.

I wish to attend some competitive universities, such as UNC Chapel Hill, Duke, Georgia Tech, but my GPA and my extracurricular activities would not let me do that.
My school credits in 9th, 10th were transfered/translated from my original country and I got almost B's, no C, and 3 A's. The credits I got in the US high school are all A's. Because the courses in my country are harder than in the US High school so those B's seem not fair to me and it hurts my dream. :(

To improve my GPA, I'm taking 3 honor online class this summer, 5 AP classes next year and try to participate in some extracurricular activities.

Actually, I dont ask you guys for my chance to go to those universities 'cause I know my chance is probably 0.00000000000001% :((

My concern is if I go to Community College, will my GPA will be reset as 0? If it is, will it be a good choice for going to CC to build a good GPA then transfer/apply to those universities instead going to so-so university based on my High School GPA right now?

Thanks for reading. Any suggestions are welcome.
