I am debating between applying early to Cornell or doing RD for Cornell so I can also apply to MIT. I am also worried that I'm an international student. Any suggestions?

You appear to have good test scores and fairly good grades, with a strong set of ECs that you've been committed to. Your post doesn't give any indication of how challenging your courseload has been, which might be worth knowing.

However, as you likely know, last year's acceptance rate for international applicants was below 4%. There is never a guarantee for anyone, but it's even tougher for internationals. I took at look at the current geographic distribution, and out of a total of 389 international undergrads, 24 are from Canada (and that's out of all four undergrad classes). This isn't a meaningful predictor, since international admission isn't on a quota system, but it does underline that it's a difficult road.

That said, if you don't apply you'll have a zero percent chance of being accepted, so if you're excited by MIT you should surely apply. I can't advise you whether to do early vs RD Cornell, but wanted to be sure you put the international aspect into context.

Good luck with your applications!
