Looking at the following Schools:

BU
BC
Johns Hopkins
Lehigh
Carnegie Mellon
Case Western
Harvard (long story, I am a double legacy and some other stuff-I know my chances here)

If anyone has any suggestions for any schools please throw them out there.

I think you will get into BU and Case maybe Lehigh. Don't know on the others. Maybe also take a look at Georgia Tech. Good luck!

ya, thanks, I looked at Georgia tech but I don't know if I want to go to school in the south

Hopkins and Carnegie are definite reaches, although the upward trend does help; did you top 3.5 junior year? SATs look solid.

I'm betting BU is a slight to mid reach, and BC is a match. Can't comment on the rest, 'cause I'm not familiar with the schools.

I think BU is closer to a safety than a reach for you. They accept around 50% of applicants, and you exceed their SAT standard by a couple hundred. Couple that with solid EC's and good essays, and I think you're into BU easy.

BC won't be as much as a walk in the park but I still think the odds are in your favor. You fit very well with their accademic standards. And although they have literally half the acceptance rate of BU I still think you should probably get in here.

(The fact that you live in MA should also signifcantly boost your chances with both BU and BC)

Lehigh Should be just as much as a challenge as BC, they have approx the same standard of academics. Although they have a higher acceptance rate than BC.

Hopkins and Carnegie are definately in the next tier up but that doesn't mean you're out of luck. I know multiple people who got into JHU with significantly lower credentials. I can't comment on Carnegie that much but I definately think you have a shot at both schools, a noticable shot.

Yeah, checked my stats after reading sagecoll's post and I got BU and BC mixed up. Sorry. Good chance at both, safety and BU is my guess. Just wanted to fix that error.

thanks so much guys
And to answer your question my gpa this year so far is about a 3.8

bump..............

and again
akjgsd

How about RPI and University of Rochester.

The male/female ratio at RPI was not to my liking. University of Rochester was nice though, kinda secluded.

I also am going to apply to Purdue (good physics) and Wash U.

anyone else?

again bump
