To give some sort of reference, i was in my guidance counselor's office and she told me she thought that my high school had won the lottery by getting to have me as a student.</p>

<p>My essay is about being raised by lesbians and how it's affected me in my acceptance of my family and of myself.</p>

<p>*some ECs end at 2 years because i transferred schools between sophomore and junior year so it's not quite as scattered as it seems. my new school didn't have the ECs my old school did.</p>

I worked as tutor for children for a year and i now work at Jimmy Johns</p>

<p>BC does not superscore ACT so its 31 for BC, not sure about Rice
You should get into both of the schools because your Rec and Essay will push you in.

<p>You should have a really good shot at Boston College. I would definitely consider it a match.</p>

<p>Rice is probably more like high match/low reach, but you’re still in a good position to be accepted.</p>

<p>bumppp. i’m afraid my ACT is too low for Rice? Middle 50 is 31-35. Do my other qualifications make up enough for this? </p>
