Hello will you please chance me or give me some advice on transfer admissions. Here are my stats:

College: University of Hartford. Economics Major. Honors Program. 4.0 1st semester. Dean's List. President's List. Honor's RLC.

High School: 5 APs: Both English Writing Courses (3s each), AB Calc (5), American Gov't (5), Macroeconomics (-), U.S. history (3). Other honors classes. Took all NYS lab science classes. Pretty diversified course load.

Extracurricular: Ultimate Frisbee club co-founder, cross country, theatre production tech manager, can't remember what else.

are you a freshman or a sophomore right now. Do you have your high school stats? You seem like a good candidate for northeastern, not sure about Binghamton U. I would have to see your SATs to see if you have a chance

I did forget high school SATs. They’re not great. 590, 570, 570 I believe. (reading, math, writing).

I’m hoping they won’t look to much at high school stuff like that, because I feel it’s a bad reputation for me as a student. I got a 5 on AB Calc, and got an A in honors English in college, that should mean something more.

Your college work will bear heavier emphasis than your high school work. Even the top colleges like to see what you’re currently doing than worrying about the past. You seem like a competitive candidate for Binghamton, BU, and Northeastern. Go apply!
But I’m not too accurate whether BU will judge you partially on SAT scores, unless you have some internship experience. You have a greater chance of being admitted to Binghamton or Northeastern.

The common app makes you do all of the forms (teacher, secondary school, dean, etc.) in paper, but do you also have to submit the actual application by paper or online?

Visited BU and Northeastern on my spring break in Boston, both are very impressive. BU students seem more individualized and intellectual, whereas NU seems to have more “popular” or hipper students. BU also has a really unique campus area, it reminds me of more european cities in a way.

I’d like to go to either of these schools, Boston is great.

I’m sorry that wasn’t the acceptance rate at all. I meant to say that there is only 800 seats to be filed and that I (could be) one of them - that doesn’t define the acceptance rate at all.

I was just excited and didn’t think about what I was saying, mea culpa.
