I think you have a damn good chance of getting in. Very impressive. Now just fill out your application perfectly.

I don’t like to “chance” for PLME because it is so selective, and plenty of very qualified applicants don’t get in. That said, things look pretty good for you. If someone knows you very well from your hospital volunteering, particularly an MD, you might consider getting a reference letter from them. Your essays will also have to reflect (for the PLME ones) what makes you ready to decide to go into medicine, why the Brown program fits that, and why you fit them, and bring out a humanism side to that decision, and to you. (all in a very short essay!) Spend quality time on doing that part!

I agree with BrownAlemParent. No one is sure thing to schools like Brown. but, you are competitive

Should my shadowing experience of a local hospital doctor be included in my application?

Also, thank you for the quick responses.

you should include what is important in your application. what impressed me was your working in local court hearings.

Would it make a large difference if I ED’ed or RD’ed?

If Brown is your first choice and you are sure you won’t have problems attending even if you get no FA, then you should ED. Otherwise, RD.
