Oh god don't let anyone tell you otherwise - don't even worry about your SAT score. The difference between a 2290 and a 2300 is one question. Colleges know that. Your APs more than make up for it anyway. (Jeez, not that there's anything to make up for.. since when is 2200+ bad?)

I think you have a decent shot at all of those (loved the piano piece!), but the only thing against you is that it can really be a crapshoot with the ivies, because nearly everyone who applies has something great.

I don't think you should worry, but I think you should add a few more safeties to your list. I doubt you'll need them, but it's good to have especially with this year being so competitive.

I just listed the relevant ones to get chanced for. I have added about 5-6 safeties but just didn't mention them (fordham, albright, penn state, drexel are a few)

WOW, you are a genius hahahaha! I feel so retarded right now =). Welll... I would put you at a really good chance to get into all of them, but you might have the most trouble with UPenn and Princeton and Harvard. All the rest seem like sinches (don't know how to spell it) ;)

wow, seriously one of the most impressive stats I've seen on CC.. ever.
Your music supplement is amazing; I downloaded the mp3 just and cropped just the Rose piece. It is going on my iPod :-D

IMHO, any admission committee that rejected you would only be missing out (including Harvard and Princeton). Yes, I know they are Harvard and Princeton, but they would still be missing out

Good stats. I don't think anyone can call Harvard/Princeton a match/safety, but if you can't get in, it would be tough to see anyone else make it. Good luck.

Wow. You really do astonish, Astonisher. Your stats are REALLY good, especially your ECs. Definitely can get into all those schools. Only problem is the unpredictable admissions this year recession and all.

I just want to note that even with the OPs very good stats and interesting background, his list is perhaps a bit top-heavy for comfort (assuming this was his entire list). While NYU is probably safe for him, I think every student should have at least one truly safe option. That being said, I expect him to have very good results.

Hey hunt, yes I agree with you on having a good safety. I applied to Tulane as my main safety and have been accepted. I have also gotten a likely letter from NYU. I only listed the higher end of the spectrum.
