<p>Is a 28 ACT good enough to give someone a chance for admission to brown if everything else is strong?</p>

<p>and you can really say no because 18% of people that go to brown now got in with ACT of 28 or lower. So it cant be that bad…and 28 is in their range on collegeboard…</p>

SAT CR 520 MATH 670 WRT 670 — is this a waste to send b/c of the CR or should i send it because i know brown uses the sat essay for admission and i got a perfect score on the essay…and the math is ok…idk its tough</p>

<p>I don’t think brown looks at the sat essay for admission, the common app essay is far more important. your acts and sat scores are actually pretty equal, but if you consider seeing a tutor about the critical reading something might just click. i know my critical reading scores went up considerably when i learned more about what they’re looking for</p>
