UMich

Applying to UChicago and Caltech, but I have a low chance of getting in

other schools?

Sorry to say this, but your GPA isn’t good. Your ECs are okay, but besides the medical research (which you should definitely play up on your application/essays) you don’t have much. What scores have you gotten on your AP examinations? You should shoot to improve your SAT, but your Subject Tests are great (don’t worry about the physics one, 750+ is great and your 730 U.S. History will only be viewed as a positive addition to your resume). Make sure you have a great essay and recommendations.
Assuming you get good grades in your Senior year classes, raise your SAT to 2200+, and have good essays/recommendations:

Carnegie Mellon University - reach for CS, not sure for others but probably high match
Johns Hopkins University - reach
Cornell University - low reach/reach
University of Michigan - match
RPI - high match/low reach
Georgia Tech - high match
NYU - low reach
Boston College - high match
University of Rochester - match
University of Chicago - low reach
Caltech - probably reach

Good luck!
