Columbia - good chance
Harvad - a game of chance iike this school is for everyone
J Hop - good chance
Boston - way in.

College: Columbia University - High match

College: Harvard University - Mid reach

College: Johns Hopkins University - match

College: Boston University - very easy in

just don’t bother applying. There’s no way you’re going to get in with those scores.

75% shot at columbia ED

Columbia - Awesome chances! I’d say match/slight reach, but slight reach only because it’s Columbia.

Harvard - Well, duh… it’s Harvard. You have as good a shot as most, but you’re a white girl from Long Island (and I mean this in the best possible way… I, myself, am a white girl from Long Island) so it might hurt you a bit.

J. Hops - Match, no doubt.

BU - Do you even have to ask? Haha.

@ jive87 lol thanks

@nervoussenior10 thank you, you understand! i try to make everyone who thinks i’m a shoe in for columbia see that i am a white girl from long island lol, if only we lived in Nebraska…sigh.

columbia: probs in. good jobbbb. :]
harvard: reach [as for everyone…]
JHU: match

Columbia - High match
Harvad - Medium reach
J Hop - Match
Boston - In with a good scholarship

you should be in at columbia, harvard is a universal reach, you should be in at jhu, and bu may be a medium reach for you.

just kidding about that last one

thanks guys, my fingers are crossed. hopefully columbia will let me in ED and i’ll never even hear from harvard : )

Columbia-in (ed and great stats. your in)
Harvard-reach
JHU-in
Boston-safety

you’re in for columbia. Everyone here is crazy. C’mon, Intel Finalist? No way.

Chance me back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/821732-chance-me-barnard.html#post1063628745

thanks kiwi, but it’s not the same ‘intel’ everyone knows. intel ISEF is what I was a finalist for (~1500 finalists worldwide) which is a presentation based competition, where as intel science talent search (the one everyone refers to as intel) is open only to US seniors and is a paper based competition. ISEF is more selective by the numbers, but I think STS is more prestigious (but no one knows their STS results when they apply to college).

bumb bump bump

shameless bump

Columbia University - Low Reach
Harvard University - Reach (it is for everyone)
Johns Hopkins University - High Match
Boston University - Safety

Wow, great stats! You have great odds at Columbia, best of luck! (What is it now? Only 5 days left?)

you have a great chance for all of the schools. Harvard and Johns Hopkins could be slightly a reach but still, great shot for Harvard and Johns Hopkins.

Your stats are sooo good, I’m very jealous. :D

Columbia-Match
BU-In, duhh. lol
JHU-Match
Harvard- Reach. Unless you cured cancer or defy gravity or donated a gazillion $$ to them, lol.

Oh. Well, 1500 finalists worldwide - maybe not as “prestigious”, but still hell of an achievement. I don’t see why you can’t get in with decent, non-contrived essays. Good luck! And yes, hopefully we will be neighbors next year :)

bump bump bump

for everyone looking and not chancing, I WILL chance you back : D
