Chance for Cornell?

Hello. This is my very first post on CC so please forgive me if I have done something idiotic.

Anyhow, I am 13 years old and a senior in high school. Ergo, I'm hoping to begin undergrad studies next fall.

*I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA from a local public high school.

*The issue is my current SAT I and II scores which I had to send: CR:590 M:650 W:680 (1920) and 650, 640, and 620 on French, US History, and Math II

*My EC's are ballet and violin and my only volunteer activity is helping out at a local community hospital.

*My essays were okay. It may have been a bit childish.

The schools that I applied to are Cornell ED(C of A&S), U of Mich and uPenn.

All things considered, what are my chances of being admitted to Cornell and the other two?

Smells like a ■■■■■…

Does this look so idiosyncratic to you? With all due respect, I’m genuinely trying to receive some insights.

It’s highly unlikely these schools will accept a 13 year old. Age Aside, you don’t have the scores for Cornell or Penn.

You don’t have the scores.

My advice? Wait until you are a normal age to go to college. By then you should be able to get the scores to get into those colleges. You shouldn’t skip so many grades unless you are extremely, extremely genius-level bright, and a 1920 SAT as a 13 year old, while good, is not that (I’ve known many with higher SAT scores at 13 years old that participated in programs like CTY, did not skip any grades, and attended prestigious colleges like HYPSM.) You would be better off doing the same. You’re not going to have a good college experience as a 13 year old even if you did get in.

You can’t even apply to both UPenn and Cornell early. Going to have to agree that this is a ‘■■■■■’.

They didn’t say they applied early to UPenn. But it does look suspicious now that I look at it again.

@Maddi

Do you live in New York? There’s statutory colleges that may accept you. Also, at 13, perhaps you should stay close to home.
