mainly asking for academic wise if I have a good shot, my ecs are plenty/good essays.
Also I’m a first generation college student if that helps with admissions.
How do these stats fare for other UCs like Irvine/Berkeley/SD?
Your ACT is low for CS of UCLA/UCB. Unless you score high in your SAT II (780+) you wouldn’t have much of a chance!
Thanks for the reply! What about for UCI? Also if it helps, most of my extracurriculars are CS related including an internship at an IT company. Also 3/4 of my personal insight questions are directly related to CS/programming. I hope this will help me out more even though my ACT is low. How does my gpa fare against others?
You should be good for UCI. Your GPA is very good, and assuming you had sufficient rigor in your classes, it should be more than enough for UCI.
Since UCs value GPA more than test scores you have a chance at UCs you listed, especially if you applied to CS under L&S.

You’re (almost) definitely going to get into UCI. I don’t want to say definitely because then a bunch of people will jump on me saying “nothing is for sure” etc. etc. but your stats definitely meet/exceed their averages.
Just curious, why is UCI your top choice? I applied there as well and I’m interested in it too but I don’t know much about it.
Well for one UCI has its own school for CS(school of information and computer sciences) and it’s the only UC(I think?) that has specialization in CS you can choose as an undergrad. Also I have friends who are most likely going there(and friends who currently go there). Plus it’s closer to my house so I can commute :). Other than that I know that UCLA/UCB have higher ranking programs but I really like the campus at UCI and everything els I listed. Good luck on admissions!
