So am I missing anything and what are my chances?

2280 SAT (760 math 740 reading 780 writing)
Also if you don’t include one semester of college and include CTY, then 3.76

And have taken toughest classes in grade

Class rank/GPA are low, any reason why? And why did you not maintain a single sport throughout all of high school? Dropping basketball, then dropping soccer, then suddenly moving to swimming? Shows you’re all over the place and don’t really care about any of those three sports. You’re other ECs are good and your SAT is good enough, Duke ED is a 50/50 I’d say! Good luck!

Low GPA and class rank because I took the toughest schedule possible/ harder than anybody else’s. as for sports our swim team just started last year so I joined ASAP. I played basketball and soccer freshman and junior year and then only swimming last year and next year because everything else I do

If your schedule was truly “harder than anybody else’s,” that’s a really good sign. Good job with all those tough classes! :)

Anyway, besides the low-ish GPA (which you already explained, so 'tis all good), you have a phenomenal chance!

I mean I took the most AP’s, I was the only one to take Online classes through CTY and classes at college… Does that count?

Your GPA in the context of your course load is good. Overall you have a pretty good chance at Duke ED. Good luck!

Bump please

Your test scores are good, your ec’s are great, and although your gpa is a little low I’m sure if you took the hardest courses you possibly could, it’s fine. Overall looks like you have a pretty good shot at duke, especially ED. You look like a competitive applicant.

Duke ED - high match

You are very competitive for Duke. Your stats are on par of all the acceptees. ED will help you a lot. I think you will get in, but keep in mind only 8% do get in.

I’m thinking trinity

You are quite a competitive candidate for Duke! The irregularity of your sports may be one of your only weaknesses. I was reading about the emphasis of sports in an application and what it tells about the applicant, it was by a former Stanford admissions officer. It is something they look into there, but I’m not sure about Duke. Anyways, best of luck to you!

I would say you have a decent shot. high match/reach. There are some inconsistencies that stand out. I still think youre competitive and have a shot. My advice for you would be to work really hard on the Duke supplement.

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1544406-chance-me-please-duke-notre-dame-johns-hopkins-etc-ill-chance-you-back.html

BUMP again please

You should be in duke! Your tests scores and ec’s are stellar!

You definitely have a good chance at Duke! High match.Good SAT score, decent GPA, but I think it all boils down to recs and essays. Good luck!

I’d say you’re a high match to Duke ED, the only thing bringing you down is your GPA and rank. Your SAT is great though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they accept you!

I would say high match

I would say that you have a pretty good shot of getting into this school. Good job!
